What is Scabies?
Scabies is a itchy condition that is caused by an itch mite that is called: Sarcoptes scabiei. These mites are eight legged parasites, that are super small, just 1/3 millimeter long, they cannot be seen by the naked eye, only through a microscope.

Who gets Scabies?
Anyone can gets Scabies.

How is it spread?

Scabies is spread through person to person contact- skin to skin contact,but it is very hard to catch Scabies through shaking hands or hanging up a coat next to someone that does have it, or even sharing clothes. A simple hug though is enough to catch this diease. The most common form of transmission is through sexual physical contact, which is the more common in sexually active young adults.
